A Radio Conversation about Family Problems

Clara : I am  really exhausted. They want me to do all the home chores. My children are noisy and messy. My husband is lazy and demanding.

Radio Presenter : You have a point, but who is to blame in your case ?

Listener 1: Could I stop you here for a moment? I think that you must find time to do it all by yourself, that's what moms do!

Clara  : I don't agree with you because I don't have much time for the children as I am very busy at work.

Listener 2 : You have a point because I have the  same problem wih my family.

Radio Presenter : Well, that might be true, but why has this problem become so common nowadays?

Listener 1 : I guess this is the effect of working mothers.

A Radio Conversation about Family Problems

Radio Presenter: Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our programme "Family Problems." Today, we have Mrs. Clara in our show. So, what's your problem Clara?

Clara : I am  really exhausted. They want me to do all the home chores. My children are noisy and messy. My husband is lazy and demanding.

Radio Presenter : You have a point, but who is to blame in your case ?

Listener 1: Oh no Mrs. Clara! It is your responsibility because you didn't share the roles since the beginning with your husband.

Clara  : I am so tired, I work and do all the chores and my family never understands that it is exhausting!  They don't help me at all, may be they think that I am a robot!

Listener 2 : I agree with you because this is part of their character and unfortunately it is too late to change it!

Radio Presenter : Thank you Mrs. Clara and I hope that you soon find a solution to your problem

Listener 1 : I advise you to teach your children how to be organised step by step.

A Radio Conversation about Family Problems

Clara  takes part in a radio programme dealing with family problems. She talks about how  overburdened she is and the very little assistance she gets from the other family members. The radio presenter and two other listeners take part in the conversation. They express their opinions about the issue.

Clara : Hello listeners. Today I'm here to talk about family problems. I am  really exhausted. They want me to do all the home chores. My children are noisy and messy. My husband is lazy and demanding.

Radio Presenter : You have a point, but who is to blame in your case ?

Listener 1: Could I stop you here for a moment ? You have to clean your house and prepare the food because that's your role.

Clara  : Are you sure? I am not a robot! I have a full time job and all the house work is left on me! I'm very tired and I feel like a slave in my home. I have the right to relax and enjoy my life too!

Listener 2 : I agree with you, we have the right to enjoy ourselves!

Radio Presenter : Well, that might be true , but there are some tips to have roles fairly shared among family members. For example, Clara you could prepare the food, while your husband cleans the garden and the living room, and the children must do their beds.

Listener 1 : That's the magic recipe I am using with my family.

Clara: Thank you. I will try it.

A wedding that turned into a disaster

A wedding that turned into a disaster

Sunday, 6th August at 7 a.m we were in the party room to celebrate my uncle's marriage. Suddenly, we heard the sound of a shooting and three men entered, they were terrorists. I started screaming and I felt terrified because they killed two persons who tried to escape in front of my eyes, that's why the hair on my neck stood up. After that, they started threatening us using weapons and they warned us that if we don't keep silent they would kill us. But, I was lucky because earlier I was talking to my father who works as a police officer and I did not hang up the call, so he heard everything.
Hence, after about ten minutes the police surrounded the place and arrested them. As a result my father was awarded for his heroic behaviour during this operation. I was really proud of my daddy who saved our lives. Alas, the wedding turned into a disaster.
Greetings to all policemen.
